Bearing only a guitarist, drummer, and vocalist, Divisions' assault of sludgy powerviolence/hardcore is truly unique. It's amazing that this band is only a trio. Disasters In The South / Unexploded Ordinance is limited to an impossibly small number of 24 copies. I'm guessing by the almost obnoxious quality of the sound on both sides of this tape as well as the impossibly small run amount signifies that it is their 'demo'. I find the quality a bit distracting, but after a few listens the music really stands out. Full of heavy hooks and monstrous slow parts. These are anthems of hate. It's a shame that they had to release this on a c20, the material is enough for a c10. Great covers of Celtic Frost and Siege, I would even go as far as to say that Divisions' cover of 'Cryptic Rays' is better than Insect Warfare's. Really awesome stuff here.
