  • "Its a war" - WHAT AN AMAZING TRACK!! Italo disco, but with a heavy funky, almost African influence, which is not the normal trend for general Italo releases. Nice subtle funky guitar rift and male vocal with feeling behind it. It's no surprise therefore that a track like this is very highly regarded by the first and second wave Detroit artists like Derrick May (one of his all time top 10 favourites), Juan Atkins (still playing it today), Carl Craig (ditto) and others. It bridges the gap between funk and electronic, in a way which so many artists have aspired to since the birth of electronic music.
