Notes

"The original tracks have been taken from the c/o pop-fest 2008 pre-releases DTR 001 and DTR 003."
  • As a natural selection for its own label roster, Cologne's Psycho Thrill label and club brand is now appearing with another sub-imprint for deeper Techno and Minimal House tunes. The first official release is compiling the best tracks of those "hard to get" C/O Pop Festival promo copies from 2008 in a split EP called "Lost-N-Found" by Southern Frenchman HUGHES GIBOULAY together with Cologne's GROSSPROJEKT_674. Both of these are highlighting the label's debut with four cuts for thoughtful connaisseurs, experienced dancers and DJs. All of them have got subtleties in their structure, which usually get lost on a dancefloor that is craving for an easy entertainment. While Giboulay's "Tout Doux Doux Doux" does seem more like a chord-driven experiment in channeling the flow of sound by subjugating the beats a little bit further into the background, his harder hittin' "Dark And Noisy About A Nasty Girl" is then tailored more brilliantly to the club than the extensive opener. Finally, the GRPJ_674 flip side explores the so called "Minimal House" in all of its stagnant glory by attaining killer results. "Viva Berlin" is an uplifting, mysterious, booming and delicious piece of this special euphoric kind captured on vinyl. Whereas the reduced mix of "In The Corner" rides on a sparse monster bassline, headed for a rather dubbed-out and percussive tone.
